POTR SAPPORO, which opened its grand opening on the 1st floor of Sapporo PARCO in May this year, is the only brand concept store in Hokkaido where you can enjoy the world view of Yoshida bags. The design of the store, which displays wooden furniture made of Kalimoku, furniture like wire containers, and plastic case exposed, is an image of a "factory" with a selection of Yoshida bag items. The disciplinedness and the beauty of the interior that can be felt from a well-organized space resonates with the spirit of Yoshida Bag's brand, focusing on MADE IN JAPAN with the motto of "one needle soul". A concept store where various bags are "waiting for shipment now or now"--In such a space, you can enjoy choosing bags. In addition to the standard items of Yoshida bag, there are also limited items and collaboration items that can only be purchased here in Hokkaido.

"POTR/RIDE" collection

"RIDE", which was newly launched from "POTR" in September this year, is a series that pursues ease of use that allows you to carry luggage with peace of mind when walking, running, cycling, motorcycle, etc. Rachel's "MESSENGER BAG" has a pocket with cushion material that can store 16 inch PCs in the interior, and the side pocket can store what you need not only when you go to work, but also when you go out on a daily basis with a lot of luggage. "The plain clothes I wear today are perfect, and when I try it, it's very cool, and above all, it looks very strong!"　I didn’t have a big bag, so I thought it wouldn’t spread the width just by having one bag,” says Rachel.
Mamiko, a voluminous bager who says, "I usually carry all important things so that I don't regret even if a thief enters the house," chose a compact size that can store everyday necessities such as wallets and smartphones. "ROLL BAG" is attractive. The nylon tape on the back can be attached directly to the bicycle, and can be used as a handlebar bag. "It also comes with a short handle, so it looks easy to use. It seems that I can pack a minimum amount of belongings, so if I am a large-capacity person, I think it's okay to use a subbag (laughs)," says Mamiko.

Free from stress and positive
“PORTER/SENSES”

"PORTER/SENSES" is scattered with elements that allow the mind and body to become positive. I want to spend a relaxing day free from daily stress--a new series that was born in March 2022 to respond to the voices of such times. We propose bags that can stimulate the five senses and feel positive, such as the adoption of αGEL that disperses pressure depending on the weight and relieves stress with a soft touch, and scent scent that calms the mind.
The smell bag contained in a small black drawstring was perfumed by the incense-established Shoei-do, which has been creating fragrances for more than 300 years. The pleasant fragrance of natural origin, such as sandalwood, is released softly every time the bag shakes. The two of chelmico, while sniffing at the drawstring bag, synchronized with the state of relaxation that I visited in an instant, saying, "I'm healed with a really nice scent."

They look similar, completely different opposites. From an early age, I asked about what was most influenced by the formation of myself.
　
"Is it music? My mother has always been listening to music and radio at home since I was intent. My mother was checking out Hikaru Utada and the hit charts that were popular at that time. I was listening to overseas hit charts, so I wonder if you became sensitive to popular songs. I loved that song, and I still like it. I think the music I listened to at that time is still alive in me,” Rachel said.

“Music, laughter and radio. I have a family of five, but my father likes reggae, and my mother likes Tatsuro Yamashita, Yuming, and Southern. And my oldest brother, who was 10 years old, listened to HIPHOP and HOUSE, and my second brother, who was 7 years old, was obsessed with bands, folks, and rock.……So just at home, you can listen to music of completely different genres at any time (laughs). I also loved Jim Jarmusch's film Coffee & Shiga Let's, which was recommended by my brother, and I was very influenced by Jim Jarmusch's work, such as searching for music videos of artists flowing there," Mamiko said.
