Today, we are pleased to introduce the long-awaited 24AW new arrival from [EYEVAN 7285].

EYEVAN 7285
EYEVAN started in 1972 with the concept of "wearing glasses" and entered the world in 1985.
 
About 40 years later, in 2013, a new design team reconstructed the archives of the EYEVAN from the past, and EYEVAN 7285 is a collection that shapes what they think is truly beautiful now. The design sources are not only EYEVAN archives but also various objects such as old glasses, telescopes, hand mirrors, and other old tools collected by the original design team, as well as artifacts such as buildings that the designer himself saw, nature and natural objects.
 
These vast design sauces are blended and incorporated into a product called eyeglasses. Temples sourced from French forks manufactured in the 1940s, metal frames incorporating the structure of visual inspection frames in the 1970s, and parts inspired by the arabesque patterns of old Japanese temples are embodying the idea.
 
In addition, the products of the EYEVAN7285 are produced by a combined production process of hand-made by skilled eyeglass craftsmen in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, a world-class eyeglass production area, and machine-made by the latest machines. Eyeglasses made by combining traditional and new manufacturing methods are often simple and casual designs at first glance, but the details are very technical, and even in Sabae, the manual work of limited craftsmen with particularly high technology occupy a lot of work. Eyeglasses, which are carefully crafted after about 400 processes, can be said to be a modern craft rather than an industrial product.
