Bando, who had been attending a Steiner Education School in Hokkaido until the age of 18, played a leading role in a graduation drama, making it a turning point that was fascinated by the path of an actor.
"Theatre was in class at the school where I attended. When I was in the third grade of high school, there was a graduation drama, and I couldn't graduate unless I did it—that is, the culmination of high school life is drama. Because I did that, I wanted to be an actor. The quality is very high, and the heat of the students is hot. That's why I'm excited, playing the role of a strange scientist named Thomas Stockman. It is a tremendous amount of words, and there are a lot of specialized words. But if I didn't play that role, I probably wouldn't be here right now.…If you think about it, I'm glad you did it. At that time, I was able to feel very much that I couldn't overcome or impossible. I put a line of about one novel into my head and play it in public. Actually, before the production, my head turned white. “I tried so hard, but it’s over.…"I think. Even in such a state, you have to go to the stage, so when you go out on the stage, you feel like you have entered the zone. It's like what you've done, rather than what you're feeling.…Remember your body well. "Wow, it's so fun!" I felt like the adrenaline was blown up.
