Bando Ryuta x ShimamuraMusic| Move your heart and meet the joy of expression

Ryuta Bando, who reached out to the guitar, looked like a boy. Not only as an actor living in the role, but for him who has faced expression in all forms, his appearance is exactly the joy of living. Under the motto "Create as many people as possible who enjoy music," he visited ShimamuraMusic, which offers new joy to those who love music. To play, to play…I approached the heart of living as an expressionist and a life-size face.

From vintages to reasonable models

The guitar floor of Sapporo PARCO 7F boasts the best selection of domestic high-end models and component brands from well-known overseas manufacturers such as Martin, Gibson and Fender, making it a spot loved by guitar fans. We also handle a lot of precious vintages and adjusted used instruments unique to specialty stores, a wide variety of equipment and accessories around the guitar, such as effectors, and set up a guitar repair booth. Professional staff will also provide consultation on repair and remodeling of musical instruments, and will support life with guitars from all directions.
"I have a guitar that I want Mr. Bando to touch," the deputy manager introduced Ryuta Bando to Gibson Custom's highest peak, "Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS Factory Burst NH," and "Can I connect it to an amplifier?" I want to play such a wonderful guitar!” said Bando. While holding down the string with familiar hands, he started playing the intro saying, "When I was in junior high school, I played Green Day's" American Idiot "," and chewed the vibrations from the amplifier and the vibrations of the strings transmitted from the fingertips to the whole body very happily.

It has the power to move the heart even with the sound that sounds unnecessarily
Gibson Acoustic Guitar

While cruising the shop, we stopped in the acoustic guitar section and requested from Bando, "Can I touch one of the accogis?" The deputy manager introduced him to the Gibson Dove Original Ebony, a square shoulder-type acoustic guitar that appeared in 1962, known as Gibson's top model. It features a large pick guard with pigeons and flowers, and a bridge with two pigeons designed, and a decoration that focuses on details that seem to be higher-order models. Because of its beautiful looks, there are many fans around the world, and in Japan, Keisuke Kuwata and Shogo Hamada are also known for their favorite use.
He started playing, “Amazing! It’s very light. This guitar is so damn bad!” he was impressed by the sound of the double-tone guitar. "I felt again that the sound of the guitar is really good. I can't play too much electric, but Akogi is at home. "Gibson Dove Original Ebony" that I touched today was able to experience the difference in ratings. It sounds completely different when I did with Jalan! It sounds like it sounds inside the body, "Wow, I want it!" I thought it was. I just bought a camera recently, so I want to save money and buy this guitar next time.”

“Music is a common language. So all over the world
Wherever you go, you can get along with the sound.”

ShimamuraMusic on the 6th floor of Sapporo PARCO offers an extensive selection of cutting-edge digital music, as well as a “Roland Planet” where you can experience the best Roland digital products in Hokkaido. Professional staff will follow up on pre-purchase consultation, various system proposals, and operation methods after purchase, and back up the lives of visitors with music. In addition, there is also a studio (rental studio) so that you can enjoy more music, and it is equipped with amplifiers, PAs, and drum sets, enabling band-by-band or individual sounds, playing musical instruments and practicing. Bando went into the studio and sat on a drum chair, and adjusted the drum saying, "This is a little expensive." He played the drums violently with a playful stick, and said with a smile, "I'm enjoying the instrument again!"
"I played guitar and piano, played drums, and it was really fun today. Touching the instrument is really funny. Music is a common language. So no matter where you go in the world, you can get along with the sound. If you have one instrument, you can play with everyone. The fact that I can enjoy it even if I don't understand the language is the reason why I love music, and I want to value the joy that I can get just by touching an instrument like today."

A word in the mind of Ryuta Bando――
"You must work hard. From there."

He began his career as an actor eight years ago when he was 20. He said he still remembers the day he worked for the first time.
"It was my first time working in an extra film called "Punk Samurai, Slashed" (released in 2018). It was my role to paint my body black with a loincloth, draw a white spiral on my stomach (laughs), and dance among hundreds of extras for two days. I thought I was the main character, so I really enjoyed it. At that time, “I want to see the scene first!” I have a great feeling. When I saw Tadanobu Asano, Tsuyoshi Ayano and Keiko Kitagawa play in front of me, I felt that I would like to enter this world someday."
Even now at the age of 28, the fun and joy that I felt at the beginning does not change.
"Even after eight years, I don't think the fundamental part has changed. Even now, the scene is very fun, and everything feels fresh. As an actor, the invisible part is a repeat of something very plain. In fact, there is more time to spend every day creating a role that is sometimes depressed, and the scene ends in an instant. But for me, “I enjoyed it!” The joy that you can feel is overwhelming. "You must work hard. From there, the words that my homeroom teacher told me before going to Tokyo remained in my heart. “It’s okay to work hard!” I'm afraid you've got something. And then I wanted to be someone who could do it here.”
