Rachel and Mamiko, so “chelmico” — a new generation of rap units that freely throw life-size messages, is now attracting attention from all over the world. The starting point of the music starts from the stage of the "Shibukull Festival" held in front of Shibuya PARCO in 2014. After that, they appeared in PARCO's corporate message "SPECIAL IN YOU." campaign, and are closely related to PARCO. Delivering chelmico's "PARCO CRUISE" in Sapporo, which respects each other, accepts and evolves in the same natural form as when we met. In addition, at the PARCO ART & CULTURE DAYS event held at PARCO in 17 cities nationwide in October, a photo report of LIVE & MARKET EVENT “MADAMADA” held by Sapporo PARCO was released.

We propose a seasonal adult mix style that combines traditional and sporty essence while incorporating the mood of the 2000s, such as tweed jackets and track pants.

About Rachel and Mamiko's driving force
Rachel, who gave birth to her first child and became her mother in May 2021. After giving birth, she told me that she was full of new emotions every day. “I’ve been really excited every day lately. When I'm with a child, I'm always aware that it's amazing. During this time, when I saw "Ponyo" together, the way I saw it was completely different from when I was a student, and I had an interesting experience. It is a day when children tell me that. When I make a song, "I wish the society was a little brighter" or "What can I do as an adult?" “What can you do through music?” The idea has always come to be somewhere in the corner of my head,” Rachel said.
Chelmico started its activities in 2014. Next year we are preparing for the anniversary of the 10th anniversary. After his debut, he gained popularity with the momentum of dropping flying birds and dominated the music world. What is the driving force behind Mamiko's activities as an artist?
“I love music so much. I love singing and making it too. I'm really happy to be able to do my job. Now……I can't imagine myself not doing this job. What is important in expression is whether you can “sympathize” when you hear it later. The music came out, “Wow, it’s so cool!” Do you think it's bent? I’m trying to make that kind of music,” Mamiko said.
